Introduction

the
musings of a ceo, architect, designer and traveler
on what he cares
about and what he's learned along the way

prologue

Most see travel as an escape. I have designed my lifestyle to make it a form of R&D.

I see no border between the work I craft and the regions I travel. They've sculpted me across 55 countries and 17 years in the industry. Don't see that as a metric, but a forced education in resilience and perspectives.

Yet, the notion of border is vital. When one architects for privacy, confidentiality, integrity and availability, a border is what defines a culture. It offers a safe space for curiosity and experimentation to express themselves.

Should it be in business or in society, I often jump outside of my comfort zone to expose myself to the unknown. Observing, collecting data, identifying problems and, eventually, designing solutions for the next iterations on life or work.

This personal website is a shared space made of artefacts produced during this journey.

01 It all starts from privacy

What one cannot know, one cannot harm.
  1. Privacy allows a safe space for failing and trying again.
  2. Enjoying the taste of trial and error enables curiousity.
  3. Curiosity feeds creativity.
  4. Creativity fuels researches, observations and developments.
  5. When guided and structured, they foster courage to reach new highs.

02 From observations to resilience

Perspective isn't found. It is earned by the journey.
  1. Observing is collecting data. Often, the silent data.
  2. Collecting is to watch, listen and document setting aside one's ego.
  3. Less ego allows objectivity on strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Having a clear and honest view of a situation helps to build and protect.
  5. Resilience becomes a natural response.

03 There is no privacy nor resilience without sovereignty

Sovereignty is a method. Freedom is its outcome.
  1. Sovereignty is the power to define one's own limits and act on personnal will.
  2. Having the right to self-determination is to be autonomous.
  3. Being autonomous unlocks freedom.
